This is the best lube we have found for the Chief leveling head. It keeps movements smooth and quiet, even below 0!
- Remove stem from the head and remove the ball from the bowl
- Clean the ball and bowl, removing any lubricant or cleaner
- Apply a very thin layer of this grease to the outside of the ball
- Reassemble
